I attended the
4th Annual Seneca Free Software and Open Source Symposium on Monday. It was fantastic! -- lots of practical information about open source projects that are of interest to educators, both in the classroom and in administration, as well as the state of the FOSS and Open Content movements. Special thanks to the organizer, Bob Boyczuk, and the others at Seneca who made it happen.
If you're using Free Software or Open Source in Ontario, particularly in education, you owe it to yourself to circle this event on your calendar next year.
